Overseas Ministries

As a church we partner with and support a number of ministries overseas.

A crucial part of this ongoing partnership is prayer support for our overseas partners and families in Japan, Ghana, India, Zimbabwe and the persecuted church

Ghana - Emily & Godwin

In 2021, Emily and Godwin felt the Lord calling them to relocate permanently to Ghana, after living in Nottingham and being part of Trent for many years. Since then, they’ve set up a number of ministries to serve the local communities there. To find out more about what they’re up to, watch the video and head to their website for more details.

If you’d like to practically support the Aduah’s and their work, then we’d love to signpost a few options: Come along to their Ghana Update Lunch at 13:00 Sunday 17 March, you can sign up here. Get your small group involved and pray for them a group. They’ll send regular updates about what they’re up to as well as ways you can practically support. To find out more, please contact Sue Borghisani. Sign up to their newsletter for email updates here.

    Japan - Dave & Heidi

Dave and Heidi Skipper were members of Trent Vineyard before relocating to Tokyo, Japan in 2010. Since then, Dave has been involved in the underground electronic music scene in Tokyo as part of his ministry and Heidi works with a network of Gospel choirs, teaching singing to all ages, as well as coffee mornings and Bible study groups.

If you’d like to support the Skippers, here are few ways you can do that: If you’d like to hear more from the Skippers, you can sign up for their newsletter or join their monthly prayer Zoom meeting (meeting at 10:30 every week two) by emailing Caroline Seal. If you’d like to hear more about Dave’s music, then you can click here.

      Zimbabwe - John & Ali

Ali & John joined Trent in 2010 and recently felt the call to relocate to Zimbabwe to serve existing ministries in Bulawayo. Their work primarily focuses on building and supporting families in their faith, as well as construction and town planning.

Here are some ways you can support the Delaney's: to join their prayer support group or to get involved as a Small Group, please contact Linda Fugard. To receive updates, support their work in Zimbabwe financially or register your interest in visiting or volunteering with the Delaney’s, please email them here.
